Book activities early to avoid disappointment
Mole Valley District Council is delighted to be working in partnership with local sport and leisure organisations to offer a wide range of free, fun and inclusive indoor and outdoor activities for children this summer. From skateboarding and golf, to art, bushcraft, dance, and many more, these activities from local, trusted and experienced providers are all designed to keep children active and entertained over the holiday period. Registrations have now opened.
Taking place between 23 July and the end of August, these free activities for 0-16s have been selected to support a range of differing needs and abilities to provide great opportunities to try something new and make friends during the school holidays. Leatherhead activities will take place at venues such as the Stockroom Society located in the Swan Centre, Leatherhead Leisure Centre and Leatherhead Community Hub, while Dorking locations include Meadowbank Park, The Christian Centre, Dorking Sports Centre, and St Joseph’s School. There will also be activities on King George Playing Field, Chart Downs, North Holmwood, Bookham, Ashtead Recreation Ground and Nower Wood. Please visit the site for more details on locations.
Choose one or more activities your child would like to take part in and register their place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. As these activities have limited slots available per activity, please only book onto the programme if you are confident your child can attend so as not to deprive another child of the opportunity to take part. Should you be unable to attend, please let us know or cancel via the booking system. The sessions are all mixed with some activities available to all (0-16) and some age specific. Please note that some activities require parental supervision for the duration of the session.
