The Ashtead Resident has been the formal record of our AGM and our two General Meetings held in the Spring and Autumn each year for many years. We are obliged to publish this by our Constitution.

In the winter of 2006 we started publishing a sister magazine that was published twice a year. This was called Ashtead Village News (AVN).

It was decided in order to streamline costs and ease the delivery for Road Stewards that we would publish just the one magazine, and in 2024 we published the first "The Ashtead Resident incorporating Ashtead Village News"

In 2025 the new Committee decided to move to a digital format meaning the news would be more current and not delayed by publishing and delivery. The name was changed again to "The Ashtead Resident". The Autumn 2025 edition is available to read as a straightforward pdf document (see over).

The Spring 2026 edition is now available to view and read on the members' web site. If you have not yet joined, or re-joined, please visit https://ashteadresidents.org.uk/membership-and-members/ 

There will soon be a digital document with automatic page turning, the ability to share, print, download, and an option indicated by a speaker symbol which when clicked will read the article to you! Sop you can now enjoy a cup of coffee and have The Ashtead Resident read out loud to you!
