Network Rail will be undertaking rail and sleeper replacements on the track and on the Level Crossing from 7th May until 9th May. The closures will be overnight to minimise disruption to residents and will be from 12.30am until 5am.

Network Rail have issued the following letter to residents with details of the closure and the crossing closure timings. In addition the letter contains details of the additional arrangements being put in place to ensure emergency services access is maintained at all times. 

Residents wishing to use the Station Car Park overnight as they will be arriving home late at night, or setting off early in the morning, can leave their vehcile in the Car Park free of charge. The ANPR will be switched off. In the unlikely event a Penalty Notice is issued details on how to have this cancelled are in the letter below.

Network Rail have a new Digital Lineside Notification System where residents can sign up to receive email alerts on upcoming events like the above. It is hoped in the future this can be extended to mobile phone alerts and that notification of a Crossing Barrier failure can be included.
