Following the announcement last month that the Queen Elizabeth Foundation for Disabled People is to close the shop on Craddocks Parade will close today after all outstanding items have been sold.

The ARA thanks all those volunteers who have provided their time and service in support of the Foundation over the past 90 years.

The ARA has been unable to confirm that the only five years old Care and Rehabilitation Centre has been acquired by the NHS.
