The Ashtead Resident (TAR) has been the formal record of our AGM & our two General Meetings held in Spring and October each year for many years. It was published annually in the Spring. We are obliged to published this by our Constitution.

In the winter of 2006 we started publishing a sister magazine that was published twice a year. This was called Ashtead Village News (AVN).

It has been decided that to streamline costs and ease delivery for the Road Stewards that we will publish just the one magazine, and in 2024 we have published the first "The Ashtead Resident incorporating Ashtead Village News."

In 2025 the new Committee decided to move to a digital format meaning the news would be more up to date and not delayed by publishing and delivery. The name was changed again to "The Ashtead Resident".

The Autumn 2025 Edition is now available to read as a straightforward pdf document (see over), or on the Members' area now as a digital document with automatic page turning, the ability to share, print, download, and an option indicated by a speaker which when clicked will read the article to you! So you can now enjoy a cup of coffee and have The Ashtead Resident read out to you!
