Small but enthusiastic team finish the flower beds
Eight intrepid volunteers came out on Sunday (12th May) to spread a deep layer of mulch across the four flower beds in the station Car Park. This will, we hope, suppress the weeds and keep moisture in the soil. The mulch was supplied by Clare of Mole Valley Mulch who generously gave us a very good discount and stayed to help transport and spread the mulch. Clare supplies mulch for gardens in mini bags or loose.

Whilst we were there a young litter picker volunteer came by with her Mum. Ada got the litter picking bug at the last Spring Clean and her Mum bought her a small picker and a HiViz vest.
