Are you retired, partly retired or just have free time and are looking for something really worthwhile to do with your experience and skills? Then read on because you could be just what we need.

This local group would be part of The Community Foundation for Surrey which is part of a national network of 47 Community Foundations, one of the fastest growing philanthropic movements in the UK. Founded in the heart of local communities, each Community Foundation is unique, identifying local needs and mobilising local resources.

Companies, individuals, families and trusts can establish a fund with the Foundation, which in turn supports a growing programme of grant-making to communities.

We need local people to establish a local Mole Valley panel, to help establish the essential networks with businesses, families and individuals who may wish to contribute towards a local charitable fund and to link with potential recipients of funding from local charities and voluntary organisations.

We are particularly looking for people with experience in the following areas:

· Communications and social media

· Events management

· Private sector education

· Links with local government

· Links with local business networks.

Or just plain enthusiasm and energy to support those in need in our community!

It is anticipated that once we are established there would be maximum of 2 meetings/month.
