The Residents' Association has just been informed that it is to be the recipient of Ashtead Rotary's Group Community Award for 2015. We are delighted to receive such an award that is recognition of the hard work and contribution that ARA members present and past have made over many years to community life in Ashtead.
Blanche Douglass, our new President will receive the award on behalf of the Association at Ashtead Village Day at 12.15pm on Saturday 13th June.
It is though sad that our past President, David Mitchell-Baker, died recently as he would have been so proud to receive the award on behalf of the Association that he served so well for many years.
Congratulations also to Pam Ventham-Smith for the individual Rotary Award for her voluntary services to local organisations including as Hon. Secretary to the Residents' Associationn and Editor of the Association's Ashtead Village News and The Ashtead Resident.
