Highways works to improve the pavement in Park Lane caused disruption as anticipated, not helped by contractors' vehicles being parked in the road. It was not until arrangements were made to park them in the entranceway to St Giles did the sdituation improve. Couldn't this have been thought through by Highways before the works started and chaos ensued?

The next potentially chaos causing round of highways improvements is Grange Road where there are three schools to contend with. This is due to start in 2024 though no dates have yet been agreed. We hope the schools together with residents and highways contractors meet beforehand to agree the best way of minimising what is sure to be another very difficult time.
