The Residents' Association together with the assistance of Councillor Mary Cooper and Mole Valley Council have secured funding to repair or renew the vandalised seating at this memorial.  It is hoped this work will commence shortly. The picture above shows the seats intact, but if you've passed by recently you will have seen they have been vandalised.

At the moment it is a poor advertisement for Ashtead and needs some TLC.
