Mole Valley Launch TrustID Service
TrustID is a life-saving assistance band which can help to support anyone in an emergency situation. Should an individual fall ill, or suffer an accident, the emergency services will be able to call the 24/7 emergency telephone number on the TrustID wristband, quoting a unique ID number. This will connect them with Mole Valley Life’s Alarm Receiving Centre team in Leatherhead, who will access the individual’s secure records and provide them with the information they require to help support the individual’s needs, be they medical or otherwise.
Mole Valley District Council’s Cabinet Member for Community Services, Caroline Salmon said, “Having undertaken their Surrey County Council Carer Aware training last year and from their work with the cared for and carers in the community, Mole Valley Life are all too aware of the concern that many suffer should they have to spend time away from their loved ones. TrustID dovetails beautifully with our existing lifeline alarm provision to ensure that should anyone find themselves in need outside of the home, personalised help is just a phone call away, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year. We hope that the addition of the TrustID service to Mole Valley Life’s Lifeline Alarm and Technology Enabled Care portfolio will be welcomed by residents and provide much needed reassurance to not only themselves but their families and carers.”

Mole Valley Life is operated by Mole Valley District Council and works across East Surrey to provide the Lifeline Alarm and Technology Enabled Care service for Mole Valley District Council, Reigate and Banstead Borough Council and Tandridge District Council.
TrustID can help to support a range of individuals, including those with medical conditions or complex learning needs, who have memory difficulties, dementia or walk with purpose, who worry what will happen to their loved one if something happens to them, who spend time outdoors alone (like walkers and runners) and whose children are starting to become independent.
TrustID costs £1 per week ex VAT when signing up for a year and includes a TrustID assistance band.
Mole Valley Life is fully accredited by the Technology Enabled Care industry body, the TEC Services Association, providing a seal of quality and offering much needed assurance in an otherwise unregulated industry.
Mole Valley Life’s Alarm Receiving Centre takes on average 5,000 calls a week and responds to 98% of calls within 60 seconds.
