Update from AshLea Surgery - 12th January 2021

There is an NHS website where you can book an appointment for a Covd-19 vaccination. Appointments are currently available for those over the age of 80.

(Those under the age of 80 may wish to monitor the website regularly as there seems to be no official notification when you are eligible to book on the website.)

Ideally you should have your NHS number, if you don't have it to hand you can access it with the exact name you registered with at the surgery.

In case you are wondering if this will complicate the drive from the Practice to get us all vaccinated, the message below should explain how the process will work from their end.

If you do not have access to a website or cannot get it to work for you, then do continue to wait for your letter from the Practice as per the message below.

Letters are being sent out to over 80s across the country, inviting them to call 119 or go online to arrange an appointment to receive the Coronavirus vaccine.  As a locality, we are also contacting our over 80s to arrange vaccination.  If you have received a letter, please do go ahead and book your appointment as soon as possible, as instructed.

If you also receive a phone call or a message from us, please do not worry.  Just let us know if you have already made a booking.  The most important thing is that you receive your vaccination as soon as possible - it doesn't matter who you book it with.
